BEAUTY

Currently Coveting: Sigma

I’m no beauty expert, but I do appreciate some good ole’ “normal girl” makeup recommendation (aka: the girls that really don’t know what they’re doing technique wise, but they do like their everyday routine…aka me). It’s so hard to find products that you really love when everyone has their own opinion and favorites. I’m still searching for my “omg I’m never going back” products, but below I’ve rounded up some items that I’m loving (and some not so much) from Sigma beauty!

BLUSH: Pet Name | Nymphaea | Cor – De – Rosa – Buy individually OR buy as a full set here

So the blushes are listed from left to right, starting with Pet Name. This shade happens to be my favorite because it is the most subtle, and I find that I like it in combination with my everyday bronzer. The center blush, Nymphaea, is a liiiiitle too pink for my liking, but it also depends on my mood/occasion. The shade on the right can almost be used in place of your bronzer because it is pretty dark in person.

warm eye shadow palette

BROW POWDER: Medium – This brow duo is great, but much darker than I anticipated. I probably could have gone a shade lighter, but to fix that I just use the lighter shade to shade in my brows. Does the trick, and also provides a lot more drama to my look. I tend to keep this tucked away for a night out when I want my makeup and facial features to make a statement. When I DO use it for daytime makeup, I just lightly brush my eyebrows up with the lighter shade on my brush. It looks natural, and the darkness of the powder makes it so I don’t have to do too many applications to get the same effect as my usual brow powder.

EYE SHADOW PALETTE – I’m OBSESSED with this palette. I use the lightest shade every single day for my base color, and the brown and light rust color pretty interchangeably. This is a great palette to use everyday, but also to have handy when you’re getting ready for a night out. So many pretty glitters that are not overbearing but add just enough shimmer to your lid. I love the warmness of all the colors, and the compact shape that fits in my makeup bag (unlike some of my other favorite palettes).

LIPSTICK: Dance Til’ Dawn – I like this lipstick overall, but I don’t know if it’s right for MY particular shade. But what I can tell you is that it is a sheer, lightweight shade to wear around and can easily be used for everyday.

kabuki brush

BRUSH CLEANING MIT – they have four different versions of this baby online, but I like this one the best. It’s the easiest size for my hand to hold in my opinion! The mit has 7 different textures ensuring your face and eye brushes will all be as clean as possible.

travel brushes

TRAVEL BRUSH KIT – Comes with these amazing brushes (minus the flat kabuki brush on the far left) AND the traveling case! So ideal even just for everyday lugging around to and from work.

I linked all brushes individually below just in case you want to check one out as opposed to the entire kit. *All descriptions are technical descriptions from Sigma’s website*

E30 Pencil – Soften and smoke out lines. Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes, or use to highlight inner corner of eyes.
