Sweet Summertime

Can you believe that the summer is nearing an end already? It makes me so sad to think about the hot sunshine and pool filled days being replaced by the winter months…but I am trying to focus on the last couple of hot months we have left! (Let’s be real…I can’t remember the last time it was even cold on Christmas…so I really have no reason to be THAT sad).

With all of the sunshine we’ve been having, I’ve been spending a lot more time outside in attempt to get that golden glow we all love so much. Though I am EXTREMELY mindful of my face nowadays, I am still relentless on my body! I am so addicted to that natural beach tan and the bathing suit tan lines that I just slather on the suntan oil and call it good. NOT GOOD. Not good at all.

The only thing I have going for me at this point is I am really good at applying lotion post-sun exposure to make sure my skin does not get dried out (ahem…I can’t stand peeling) and to make sure that any burning that may occur is addressed. Luckily, I don’t burn all that bad, and whatever does burn turns into a nice bronze tan by the next morning, but I DO realize this is still bad!!!! (Just want you to know I’m not crazy and unaware that I am being foolish in the sun lol).

HERE’S THE EXCITING PART OF THIS POST and the REASON you need to KEEP READING!

Vaseline has the most amazing Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer that you guys literally NEED to know about! How many times have you gone to apply lotion and (1) hated the way it feels on your hands after you’re done applying (2) been inconvenienced on how long it actually takes to dry/absorb into your skin or (3) just downright did not want to rub it all over because your sunburn is killing you?! This is a HUGE win for lotion, and I am so excited that Vaseline has mastered the problems! This lotion goes on so easy and dries so quickly. I am SO big on lotioning every morning, but so frustrated when I am crunched for time. This not only soothes my summer skin, but it also cuts my application time in half!
