A Saturday in Pastels

Over the past weekend I got to hang out with one of my favorite bloggers in San Diego: the beautiful and stylish Kayla, from A Darling Dream. The weather was ridiculously amazing, so naturally we made our way to the prettiest spot we know: The Hotel Del Coronado. If you haven’t been, it should be at the top of your Spring to-do list. We got a glass of champagne and wasted the evening away exploring the beautiful property. It was truly a perfect Saturday evening!

The theme of our collaboration post started with “pastels,” and I honestly did not know how non-pastel my wardrobe was until this moment! I decided to show you my interpretation of how to work pastels into your wardrobe if you aren’t one who naturally incorporates the natural tones into your day-to-day looks. In my opinion, pastels can be worked into most outfits if done correctly. My wardrobe is filled with bolds, so I incorporated those strong aspects with a simple sweater and paired neutral accessories with it. This bold navy printed short with an almost-pastel blue sweater is definitely my version of a Spring-ready outfit. XO

  1. Can you please do a post of cute things you do with your hair. My hair is about the length of your hair and I never know what to do with it. Also, I’m going on spring break with a friend and want cute hair styles and tips from you! Thanks so much!

  2. these pictures are so darling and i love how your choice of outfit, the bold pattern in the shorts is perfect with the softer top!

you are so lucky to be able to meet up, what a blessing!
