This week has been oddly harder than many of the weeks prior, which is frustrating mostly because I had planned for it to be slightly more relaxing as I prepare to start a new job on Thursday — I guess when you try to plan things to go a certain way, that’s when you leave yourself open for a whole mess of “wrong” to happen. I’m taking it one day at a time, and just letting life’s little reminders that I am not the one in control remind me that He has a plan greater than my own (even if that plan involves getting rear ended on the freeway in a rental car -__- ) because everything happens for a reason — I am letting my reason for that stupid accident be the fact that I ran into a team of people at the LAX Enterprise who just downright made my whole entire day better, and I got to chat with an aspiring designer on his plans for the future; he even showed me his incredible sketchbook.
SO, that being said, I hope your hump day is a GREAT day, and a reminder that this week is almost over. Maybe it’s the best week you’ve had all year, or maybe it’s been a hard couple of days. Either way, cherish it. If it’s been a great one, I am so glad for you! If it’s been rotten, don’t worry; stand your ground. Cast your anchor, and don’t let any of your problems knock you over. Because YOU are capable, YOU are strong, and YOU will overcome this, whatever THIS may be 😉 Life is so precious, and we are so lucky to have this day. Whatever it holds for you, be thankful for another chance to find out, xx.

I love the message of this post! Thank you for the encouraging reminder!
Thanks so much for reading love!! xoxo Hope you’re having a fabulous week!
Getting rear-ended is the worst, I’m glad that you’re ok! I think there’s something in the air because I got a stress fracture in my heel this week out of nowhere and now I have to wear a cast and walking boot for 4 weeks! Oh and I lost my debit card, so I had to cancel it. Lol We just have to laugh it off sometimes, huh? I’m so glad that I found your blog and I love following! You really have a way with words. Thanks for you sharing your real life escapades. I hope the rest of the week is better for the both of us! Oh and I love those espadrilles! I thought they were the Chanel ones for a second! 😉 Take care!
