Breaking Fashion Rules

I know we all loving breaking the post-Labor Day white rule, and honestly I don’t think I know anyone who actually followed that rule in the first place. I know I sure don’t; which is why when I saw this white blazer I didn’t even hesitate making the purchase (the fact that it was literally the last one may have helped a bit, too). I love the fit, and I know I will be pairing it with numerous outfits in the coming months. Nothing wrong with a little winter white!

I can’t let the blazer take all of the glory though; the simple white V-neck that is underneath it is honestly the best tee I’ve ever owned. This is another piece from TOGGERY; you guys…it is the answer to all of my perfect-white-tee-prayers. I have been searching high and low for a replacement of my coveted white boyfriend v-neck, with no luck. Although this isn’t specifically a boyfriend fit, it has just enough looseness that it still does the trick, but also portrays a much more feminine feel to the simple look (the best part is that my boyfriend will stop asking if I actually stole his shirt…).

This simple black and white look is something that I have been gravitating to as of late…I think LA is rubbing off on me. It’s easy, comfortable, edgy, and chic. I’m definitely a fan. xo
