Camel Coat

Neutrals are having a major moment in my wardrobe as of late. Of course I’ve always been a fan of the coveted combo, but there’s something about black, camel, grey and white that have been so alluring to me ever since the temps have dropped. When I’m running late in the morning (aka: every morning) I stick with these basics and my #ootd is bound to look Uptown Chic regardless of your (my) inability to get out the door at the right time (moment of silence for when I actually have kids that I have to wrangle out the door and not just myself….oh my). This camel coat has come in handy lately more often than usual; it’s the perfect 3rd piece to throw on over everything.

When I paired my camel coat with these black OTK boots, I knew it was an outfit that would be my saving grace on more than one occasion where I was rushing to get out the door. The dark denim paired with the simple ribbed mock neck sweater is so simple, yet makes me feel so put together. It’s an outfit that consists of 4 of the most simple pieces in your wardrobe (coat, denim, sweater, boots) yet when put together they form an outfit that makes you feel like your own personal #girlboss theme song should be playing as you walk down the street. & don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about, because we’ve all had that moment where we’re walking to that song in our head *side smirk emoji*
