It’s that time of year again – FESTIVAL season. SORRY if you’re sick of hearing about Coachella already, but let’s face it…it IS fun to see all of the outfits that people come up with. I know that’s why I like going 😉
Whether you’ll be attending Coachella, Stagecoach, or any of the other festivals this year, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of your own neighborhood – you’re definitely going to want to hear about these Coachella beauty essentials. I mean, who doesn’t love to know about products that help them out?!
I decided to cover BEAUTY essentials because if you’ve never been to a festival, then there are definitely things that you don’t think about until it’s too late.
Beauty Essentials:
HAND SANITIZER WIPES
The sink situation at the cringe-worthy port-a-potty section isn’t always one to reply on…and the less liquids you have to convince security to let you keep in your bag the better; this year, I picked up lavender hand sanitizer wipes from Whole Foods to carry around with me just in case something goes wrong or I just need to freshen up. GENIUS.
FACIAL SPRAY
It is something you’re going to want to for SURE. Especially because we all know how scorching that afternoon desert sun can be! This spray with aloe, rose water, and herbs is exactly what the doctor ordered.
NOURISHING SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
It’s a MUST after all day in the sun and possibly wind. This set from Marajo is DIVINE. The natural scent is invigorating (no chemical smell which is a huge plus) and the Pracaxi Oil in the product will help hydrate, smooth, add shine, help prevent damage, nourish, and RESTORE. What more could you want?! OH, it also comes in travel size. You’re welcome!
SPF SPF SPF!!!!
It goes without saying that you need to protect your skin as MUCH as possible. But, plot twist, check out this Defense Refresh Setting Mist with SPF 50 – that’s right, it’s a makeup setting spray WITH SPF 50! AKA PROTECT YOUR SKIN EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE A FULL FACE OF MAKEUP ON!
HAIR SERUM
Whether your hair suffers from frizz, dryness, breakage…or just needs a little extra shine – YOU NEED A SERUM WITH YOU wherever you go. NEED IT. I put a serum in my hair before bed and when I’m styling my hair, THAT’S how much I love a good serum. Currently loving Marajo’s Anti-Frizz Smoothing Serum. Because anything that helps tame my frizz while also giving me a little extra shine is a-okay in my book.
and FINALLY…get yourself a nice, workable finishing spray. You want your hair to be easy-breezy beautiful without looking chunky and rigid…so finding the right product for your hair is a must. This one (again from Marajo, my Coachella GO-TO this year) is a 3-N-1 spray which I LOVEEEEE because one product that can do the work of many is one of my favorite things EVER.
