There’s something therapeutic about having lunch with a long time friend. Being able to vent and listen to each other about every thought and concern you each may have at that very moment over a wonderful meal is just so fulfilling. It’s just an added bonus if the weather is nice enough for you to sit on the outside patio and people watch, which was the luck we just so happened to be graced with on this particular Saturday.
Whether you’re meeting up for lunch with a friend, or taking yourself on a solo fro-yo date followed by a quick walk around the mall to window shop (or really shop…let’s be real) it’s fun to dress up in what you would imagine to be your ‘casual, effortlessly put together, weekend wardrobe,’ (for when you have nothing to do but be casual, cute, and carefree on a Saturday, which for me is rare). I took this opportunity to sport my new printed pants from H&M that were, get ready for this, $12.95. Seriously? That’s practically free in retail world.
