So I don’t know if I am the only one that suffers from this, but when I used to get my eyebrows waxed, my skin would react extremely negatively to the wax for days after. I would be red, I would have breakouts, and the skin would be sensitive to the touch. It was terrible! When I decided to switch over to threading, it was seriously life-changing. I was no longer breaking out, the redness would fade within a couple of hours, and my skin’s overall condition improved.
In San Diego, I never truly found my favorite threading place in the 5 years that I was living here. It was either hard to come by, or it was extremely overpriced. Yesterday I went and tried out the services provided by Beauty by Dolly in Hillcrest. The salon was clean, bright, and Dolly was amazing! I had an appointment with Sinem — though I have been threading for years, this experience was different because Sinem educated me on all aspects of threading: how she was trained, what she was doing throughout the appointment, and the techniques that are used to make threading so successful. And the best part — when she was done threading, she re-filled in my eyebrows so they would be picture perfect before leaving the salon!
As if this place didn’t already ‘have it all,’ they ALSO offer a service called Busy Brows — they come to YOU to do your brows when you really just don’t have the time but need to get it done! I mean, really?! How amazing is that? They offer an extensive list of services, for women and men…and the best part is everything is extremely affordable. I have finally found my threading spot in San Diego — literally this place is the.best.ever.
