There’s nothing less appealing than a thermometer that reads 37 degrees on a morning that you need to get to school before the sun has completely risen. As if the piercing cold wasn’t painful enough (I know, I’m a wimpy Southern California girl) my car made sure to remind me just how cold it was by adding an adorable little snowflake right after the 37 degrees, just to taunt me.
My remedy for this not so friendly ‘rise and shine’ greeting was an extra comfy outfit that consisted of my faithful Lululemon Wunder Unders, black North Face jacket, Uggs (thanks Santa), my beloved Ray-Bans, and a cozy Forever 21 headscarf.
To turn my frigid morning into something more fulfilling, I picked up a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel for added happiness and a Bacon and Gouda Artisan sandwich (a MUST try, so delicious). My recipe for perfection led me to a wonderful little breakfast with myself, my Volkswagen bug, and the San Diego harbor that seemed to radiate with a promise of a great day. And that it was.
Sometimes the only thing you need to make the sun shine brighter is just a little more caramel.

That’s my 2 favorite things to have from Starbucks. My other favorite thing are my Lulu’s…when they will fit around my non-prego waist again! Sounds like the perfect AM to me!
