Fall-ing for Boyfriend Shorts

I know that we ALL keep saying how excited we are for Fall to finally get here, but deep down I know that I am going to be longing for the warm summer sunshine soon enough once Winter rolls around. Since this crazy heat wave shows no promising signs of giving up its fight anytime soon, me and one of my absolute favorite blogger besties have teamed up to show you how to style your favorite boyfriend shorts from this summer into your slowly-but-surely emerging fall wardrobe!

If you don’t know Grace from Gracefullee Made yet, then let me introduce you to someone you’re going to insta-stalk on the reg. She a North Carolina blogger and has the absolute BEST style; I die over her outfits. You can find her fabulous blog here, and her Instagram here. Head over to see more details on how she styled her shorts for Fall!
We are both SO obsessed with these shorts, and do not even want to think about how sad we’ll be when it comes time to pack them away until next summer. For now, we’re going to keep them on heavy rotation, cycling in Fall-appropriate pieces whenever possible. I chose to pair my new favorite plaid from COTTON:ON with this faux fur vest that I sadly missed out on last year from H&M. When I saw it in the store a couple weeks back, even my mom told me I needed to get it! I am so excited that I did, despite the 98 degree weather we’ve been having.
What summer item will you have a hard time giving up?
