For Work, or Play?

It’s great to re-discover the hidden gems you forgot lived in the depths of your wardrobe. You know, those “I can’t get rid of this because I might wear it someday” pieces. It’s a love-hate relationship when we don’t know what to pair these pieces with, but when an idea sparks, magic can happen. (Corny, but true). That’s how I felt when I dug up this tight midi tube skirt. It’s casual enough to dress down with a chambray, but stylized enough to add a heel. And a fuchsia heel at that. (These heels are becoming my favorite go-to shoe to make every outfit stand out). When mixing colors, it’s easiest to add a bright piece when your base colors are all neutrals, and fairly similar to each other. That’s why this navy + green skirt is so easily complemented by the ridiculously bright shoe, and lip!
