Despite the rain’s attempt to keep us hiding in doors all day, my roommate and I decided to venture to North Park today. We bundled up and took to the town. I realized that it is much more efficient to travel with a hooded jacket over an umbrella. It makes it so much easier to leap from your car to the nearest covered storefront. Which also allows for more possibilities of adventure.
We started with our usual destination. Mimi & Red, our favorite boutique. After that, we decided to explore the other side of the street. We wandered into a store called Home, and some 100% vintage store that had clothes our grandmother’s mothers wore.
All the wandering lead us to a little hole in the wall called La Creperie. We indulged in chocolate and nutella crepes that took us back to our study abroad days, to die for. Before our food comas sunk in, we popped into the absolute cutest little store called Pigment. It is filled with bits and pieces you want but can never find in stores, and the coolest hanging succulent gardens. I will definitely be frequenting this little treasure more often in the future.
