Spring is finally among us and though it is still gloomy in LA (and probably will be until August, let’s be real), warmer times are right around the corner. Which means the wardrobe prep can officially begin! Even though I spend most of my days in casual, comfortable clothing (*yoga pants*)…I love pulling together cute outfits that will be perfect for summer BBQs, Sunday Fundays, and whatever random trips that may come up in the next few months. The newest addition to my summer wardrobe is this tie-front crop from Vandevort! The best part is that it’s a “one tie-front top, three ways” kind of top! Talk about bang for your buck. Scroll down to find out how to tie a tie-front top!
1. The Front Tie
This is for sure the easiest way to tie the tie-front crop top. It’s simple, just tie a bow!
2. The Halter Top Tie
Start with the top around your back with both sides in each hand. Tie the sides in a single knot, and then tie the straps around your neck. Simple!
3. The One Shoulder Tie
This was the more complicated of the three, but not impossible! With the same method as the halter-top, start with a single knot in the front. Instead of typing around your neck, bring one strap below your boob and up around your back to connect to the other strap that is going up and across your chest. I tied this in a bow, but you could also stick to a double-knot!
What’s your favorite version of the tie-top?! Let me know in the comments below!! xo
