STYLE

Cropped Sweater

I’ve always been envious of girls who know how to layer effortlessly and make it look amazing. Specifically, my hair stylist in San Diego – I don’t know how she does it, but she can layer ANYthing and make it look good. I recently got my hands on this sweater and this top and wasn’t really sure how to style either. At the last second, on a whim, I decided to put the two together to see what the outcome might be — with this (ancient) necklace tying them both together even more, I was sold!

I decided to dress the outfit up with my favorite dark Hudson flared jeans; I have a very short torso, so cropped sweaters and tops usually make me feel frumpy and uncomfortable when I wear my normal skinny jeansĀ — knowing that these jeans give the illusion that my legs are longer than they are, I felt much better in this cropped sweater; topped with my favorite hat, I’d say this outfit is a keeper (and so easy to recreate with a million other sweaters + tops!)
