My mom is the best cook I know, and now that I’m on my own I find myself desperately trying to recreate my favorite dinners from high school. Sadly, I haven’t found that touch that she has quite yet, but practice makes perfect…I hope.
One of my personal favorites is her Crab Cake + Mango Salsa combination. Seriously divine. I tried to whip up my own batch of mango salsa to top off my not-so-homemade crab cakes, and it turned out wonderfully!

Ingredients
-1 mango
-1 onion (white or red)
-1 large tomato
-2 limes
-lemon juice
-
Optional
-cilantro
Slice and dice all of the ingredients, add together. Squeeze limes into mixed ingredients, and add drops of lemon juice to taste. If needed, add salt. Chill in the fridge for an hour. Serve with crab cakes, and enjoy!
