I am so excited to share with you today some of my favorite ladies in this crazy and exciting blogging world. When I first started blogging, I remember thinking it was insane to think about actually meeting people via social media – fast forward to now: there are MANY bloggers that I hold very near and dear to my heart! I feel so blessed to be able to collaborate, conversate, and laugh with these beauties on a daily basis. I was highlighted by one of my favorites, Mary-Katherine from gold-hatted lover, and I am excited to pass on the love! Today I am introducing you to Grace from Gracefullee Made, Lauren Ashley from The Fashionista’s Diary, and Brooke from Little Blonde Blog. I hope you find some outfit inspiration and everyday fabulosity from these girls’ blogs, just like I do!
what are you working on?
Right now I am working on just keeping up with my posting! It seems like ever since I moved from SD to LA, it’s been a constant uphill battle to stay on track with my calendar and my posts – so to be totally honest, I am just working on keeping up! I have to say this is probably the best “problem” I’ve ever had with my blog, and I am so thankful for the collaboration opportunities…so no complaining here 🙂 I am excited for you guys to see some upcoming collabs!
how does your work differ from others in its genre?
I started blogging because I really liked to show off the outfits I put together from the fast-fashion retailers that I often shop at. It turned into recreating outfits I found online that were a bit out of my budget, but were still attainable with items from my own closet. After receiving feedback from my readers that the low-price, high-fashion outfits were exactly what they were looking for, I just stuck with it! I love putting together outfits that my readers can all go out and buy for under $100 – it’s how I really shop, and it’s what I love to blog about. There’s nothing more gratifying than a bargain!
why do you write/create what you do?
I have always had a passion for writing down my thoughts (I owe this to my grandma constantly encouraging me to write everything down – I now have a library of journals that document my life, circa 2005). I also could not shake the feeling that I needed to do something in the fashion world. When going to school for fashion wasn’t quite enough anymore, I decided to start my own blog. What better way to engage myself in the industry than to just jump right into it?!
how does your writing/creating process work?
Everything is always centered around my outfit. I don’t force the words, because when I do that, it’s obvious! If I don’t have anything to write about, then I just don’t – I let the pictures do the talking. I like to post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so my creative process usually happens at about 10:45 pm the night before when I should be sleeping! It’s a continuous battle of time-management, and my procrastination gets the best of me most of the time, but in the end, I am always truly proud of what I publish…otherwise, it wouldn’t be up for you all to read 😉
Enough about me – let me introduce to you my lovely blogger besties! xo
“Hi guys! I’m Grace from Gracefullee Made. I am a fashion blogger and green smoothie connoisseur (I can make some pretty amazing green smoothies!) based in North Carolina. I blog mainly about fashion and my personal style, but sometimes I’ll throw in a drink recipe or a DIY post here and there. I’m the kind of person who is constantly wanting to challenge herself, so I love trying new trends and finding fun ways to spin them. One place you can always find me here in Chapel Hill? A coffee shop. No doubt about it.”

“My name is Lauren Ashley, no, not like the bedding collection. Just…Lauren Ashley! I’m the creative little mastermind behind The Fashionista’s Diary, which is my little space where I share my outfits, inspirations, ideas and all the in-between. I started my blog knowing that this was something I eventually want to do full-time. It’s still a huge dream of mine but I’m working really hard at it! TFD is a mixture of girly, colorful and printy-ful (that’s not a word, but it’s okay). I love to take pieces that look expensive, but really aren’t, and make them into something my readers can relate to. I don’t think there’s anything sweeter than a blog that’s relatable. I absolutely love what I do and I love that I’ve been given the opportunity to inspire others, whether it’s through my fashion, words or pictures.”

“Hi there! I’m Brooke from LittleBlondeBlog. The name seemed fitting because well, I’m short and blonde. I am a twenty-something year old avid fashion junky who has a guilty pleasure for anything animal print and black. I grew up in sunny Orange County, where I still reside. I created this blog as a way to creatively express my thoughts, style, inspirations and anything else I may find fascinating!”
