There’s something to be said about an easy, comfortable outfit. Little-to-no effort is required, and you usually end up looking just as cute as you normally do. This top from Blush Boutique is something that I consider casual, but also a top that I have found myself wearing and re-wearing quite a bit in the last few weeks. It’s easy to style, it’s comfortable, and the neutral colors allow you to get creative if you’re feeling like it (hence the pop of insane brightness on my head with this red beanie, and the mirrored sunnies).
Also, can I just confess that this was my first time using my tripod in conjunction with my self timer + new (very-difficult-to-focus-sometimes) lens, AND it was raining/sprinkling (don’t worry, I had a towel over my camera). I just have to pat myself on the back for getting as many pictures as I did…even after my dad saw me and thought I was c r a z y for running up and down this trail behind my house. It was a success.
Happy Monday, loves!
{This is when my dad walked out and asked what the heck I was doing…hence the real laughter happening in this pic}

This outfit is so stinkin cute!! I love your colorblocked sweater and the pop of color from your beanie.
I shoot with a tripod too and it’s a little tough to get used to, but it’s so helpful and rewarding once you get the hang of it! I just have to rely on myself and the weather for photos, which takes a lot of stress off. Something that might be helpful… I use the ‘Interval Timer’ (called ‘interval timer shooting’ on my camera). Not all cameras have it but I googled my camera model (Nikon D5200) along with that setting to see how to find it on my camera. It’s basically like the self timer except that it refocuses before each shot! 🙂 So, you can set how many shots you want it to take, how far apart (I do like 3 seconds) and then it refocuses so you don’t have to worry about focusing manually with your self-timer. That’s been a huge help to me and has greatly improved my photos + I just have to worry about lighting and positioning my camera for the shot/crop I want.

Omg you’re amazing! I am such an amateur with this camera that I have, (Nikon D3200, which does not have the interval timer shooting sadly) but I just read about it and it does have the capability for a remote! Also…your pictures are perfection, so if you shoot with a tripod a lot, then I am definitely motivated to get to your level! Seriously amazing, girl! xo
this outfit is absolutely perfect! I give bloggers who take their own photos props! I don’t know what I would do on my own without my hubby! Your photos look perfect!
