Over the Knee Boots

With the weather being so unpredictable in my neck of the woods, thin sweaters like the one in this post are very ideal. They keep you warm, but if a scorching afternoon sun breaks up your morning fog, then you can roll the sleeves up and be just fine (usually). This one by ThreadSetters is casual, and has its own cool vibe that I really like. This print is called “Ocean Sketch,” so I thought it would be perfect to shoot the look at my college campus, where I got to stare at the ocean every single day for 4 years straight (obviously it’s not visible in these pictures (lol) but it is right behind me, just below the soccer field..so just use your imagination).

These Over the Knee boots have been on heavy rotation for me this winter…I haven’t even busted out my coveted Tory boots at all! I never thought I would see the day. Also, I’ve been extremely inspired by Amber Fillerup’s braid tutorials…If you haven’t checked them out yet, you must visit her blog, Barefoot Blonde — she is amazing! This braid came straight from her Youtube channel. If you’re bored, and you like trying new hairstyles, this one is a favorite of mine!
