Palm Springs Getaway

If you followed along last weekend on Snapchat, then you got a glimpse into my Palm Springs Getaway! If you still don’t follow me on Snapchat, then you need to get on that before I head out to NYFW! It’s going to be a crazy trip to NYC and I can’t wait to bring you guys along with me (and finally meet a lot of those who I’ve connected with through this blog over the years! I’m looking at you, Mary-Katherine!)

Anyways! The hotel I stayed at last weekend for one of my dear friend’s bachelorette bash was TO-DIE-FOR! Seriously, if you are ever planning a Palm Springs Getaway, you NEED to consider this hotel; it’s called the La Quinta Resort & Club and O-M-G I am already counting down the days until I get to go back to absorb all of the amazing details!

The hotel itself is white with blue shutters and doors; think the island of Santorini…THAT color blue. And the walls were all covered in beautiful bougainvilleas, which I have decided are my new favorite. (Serious question: do you think I can start growing one on my apartment balcony? If you have any bougainvillea experience, PLEASE comment below and tell me what you think!)

The beautiful bride rocked one of the amazing one-piece suits I brought, c/o of Despi Beachwear…which is one of my new favorite swimwear brands; the fabrics are all so soft and are so high quality. You know when you go in a public pool and your white bathing suits get a tan bit…err, let’s just say dingy looking? Well, this one looks brand new after an entire day of bachelorette festivities! I even wore it on Labor Day in this instagram post! I also have this set, which I am obsessed with. These bottoms are the first Brazilian cut I’ve ever owned, and they are surprisingly flattering! Excellent for tanning.

Last but not least, this off the shoulder top was Palm Springs perfection. Granted, it would have been nice if the temps were about 20 degrees cooler, BUT, I will be taking this top on any and all vacations from this point forward. Like how GREAT would it be in Mexico?!?!? (Famous last words if you have ever been shopping with me…seriously I say it at least 7 times during any given shopping trip. It’s a problem. Especially because I’ve never actually been to Mexico. Baby steps. At least I would have no problem packing, right?!)
