Shades of Blue

Rompers are one of my favorite things to buy, but for me they’re like a diamond in the rough. Either I hate it, or I can’t live without it. Things to look for in your romper selection are:

1) Fit: Where does the waistline hit you? How long are the legs? If they are pants, are the legs skinny, or wide? These are all important when considering what shoes you’ll wear with the romper, as well as if its going to be a flattering fit for you.

2) Color: Is the romper a color that suits you? Is it a print you’ll get sick of? These will play a part in how long you’ll actually cherish the item. The more basic of a color, the more events you can manipulate it for.

3) Fabric: Is the fabric easily washable? Is it made of a delicate fabric that will wrinkle easily? These will determine whether the purchase is worth the investment.

The romper I’m sporting in this post is a good fit for me, and an amazing color combo, however the fabric wrinkles easily (and is definitely not an outfit that should be worn on a 98 degree day). I’m overall ecstatic about this bargain find from Nordstrom Rack, however the fabric will play a strategic role in how I wear it next.
