Happy Thursday loves! If you’re a budget savvy shopper like I am, then you may have a couple favorite thrift stores that you frequent. I’ll be honest, I wish I was better at thrifting for outfits; sometimes I get discouraged because it’s so hard to look through the endless amounts of clothing racks, so I know I miss out on a ton of fab finds! If you have secrets to success, please share them!

Until I master the art, I’ll stick to one of my new favorite online stores: thredUP is high-end fashion resale store that has figured out how we WISH we could shop in thrift stores! Everything is second hand, but thredUP gives extensive details, and pictures, so you can be sure it’s a gently used item! (There’s even a tab called “New with Tags.”) You san search by brand name, or even just click on a boutique you are interested in browsing.

I got to be a part of their Summer Shopping Challenge where I was challenged to get as many hidden gems as possible for just $100. I ended up with 5 items, totaling $99.45…I saved 77% off of retail prices, which came down to $329.55. Can you believe that?!?! These are the items I purchased (Ralph Lauren dress not pictured):
