Yesterday was filled with sporadic drizzle and cloud covered skies. Despite the lack of evidence that said spring is on its way, my friend and I decided to venture up to The Flower Fields in Carlsbad for a relaxing day after a delightful brunch. There is absolutely no better way to brighten up a gloomy April Sunday than with a field covered in breathtaking Ranunculus. The colors ranged from pastel pink to fire engine red. If you haven’t been, I urge you to take the trip, it is well worth it.

Hi Ashley, we met awhile ago but I don’t really want to state my name.(: I’d just like to tell you that when I was in 8th grade, I dressed so poorly and felt so awkward about myself. I was a wreck and afraid to branch out and be the person I wanted to be. Then i met you and you completely inspired me to feel confident in myself and be bold…and to try new things! I went out shopping shortly after and completely changed my wardrobe. I got rid of those junky t-shirts and ugly jeans that haunted me and instead replaced them with blouses, blazers, skirts, pearl necklaces, and so much more. I felt like a new person. Today I feel so much better about myself and feel confident and happy with the way I dress, thanks to you. Never stop doing what you do. You completely inspired me and I know you will inspire many other young girls in the future.
