Wax On, Wax Off

Image

Like many, I have a slight obsession with beautiful candles. Whether it’s Anthropologie’s signature scent (mercury glass edition of course), or Target’s newest spring line, I usually succumb to the temptation. Due to my lack of control when it comes to new home goods, I have various candles sitting around the house that are just about empty, but not quite gone. The problem many of us have faced is the wick burning to its end. A sad, but inevitable truth to candle lovers everywhere.

I recently experimented with my Anthro candle. There’s no smell I love more than the ‘Volcano‘ candle, but the wick is long gone. I am lucky enough to have an electric stove, so I channeled my inner DIY goddess and found a way to utilize the left over wax.
