I can’t believe it’s already October – Fall (weather) is officially around the corner…or for some, it’s in
full swing. Even though it won’t feel like Fall in California until around January, it still brings on
bittersweet emotions.
I love Fall, don’t get me wrong, but there’s no doubt that Summer is my favorite season.
Luckily since I live in such a warm weather area, I don’t have to give up my summer looks just
yet. But I do find myself altering them to feel a little more Fall-like.
This outfit was coincidentally shot in 110 degree weather, BUT nonetheless I was loving the
edgy Fall vibes.
These new boots by Dolce Vita from Zappos are INSANE – the texture is incredible and they’re
the perfect heel height – and I cannot wait to wear them endlessly this season.
Since we’re still facing the heat, I styled them more realistically for this outfit with my oversized
vintage tee, distressed denim shorts, and black hat.
Though I LOVE a good shorts & boots combo, I can’t wait to style these amazing leather booties
with pants + long winter coats.

What are your favorite Fall trends? It was amazing to go back east for NYFW and to Washington DC because it put me in the mood to start dressing for the season (kind of). Though it was still 90 degrees in NYC and DC, which felt very unfair.
Even if I won’t be feeling cold temps for a while here in LA, I’m going to soak it all in because we’ll get there eventually. For now I’ll have to settle with styling my boots with skirts, dresses & shorts 😉
