Can you believe that NYE is tomorrow? Better yet, can you believe that 2016 is in TWO DAYS?! I cannot even begin to comprehend where 2015 went. It was probably the most transformative year of my life thus far. There were so many changes in my career, my relationships, my goals, and my outlook on life (corny, but true!) The last thing to decide on is a NYE outfit to properly say goodbye to one of the biggest years yet.
Another thing to happen this year that I am SO thrilled about is one of my dear friends starting her own CLOTHING LINE. How huge is that? Not only is it exciting, but it is one of the most incredible lines. The minimalistic approach is brilliant, and the fabrics are to-die-for. Sarah Ikenberry is the designer, and if her own personal style isn’t enough to make you reconsider your whole wardrobe then I don’t know what would be. She is California cool to her core, and she has a heart of gold. Not to mention, a keen eye for all things fashion.
Her line is called Above The Knee; not only is the name unique, the line itself is a force to be reckoned with. See for yourself on the website! This Ashford Coat Dress is an incredible piece; the fabrication is such high quality, and the coat itself is so versatile. Worn as a dress in this post, it is the perfect show-stopping piece to wear to a party. It can also easily be worn as a coat over another dress! Double trouble.
Tomorrow I will be dancing the night away at Prohibition NYE, which is in Downtown LA at Union Station. It’s Roaring 20’s theme and I am SO excited. You can still buy tickets here!
