Marbled Tank Top

If you follow my @shoppdss instagram, then you know I just did a HUGE closet haul. I got rid of a ton of items that I used to consider my favorites, but recently just haven’t felt compelled to wear them anymore. I think we all go through those seasons of our lives — where one day you wake up and you just see certain things differently. That might be a little deeper than talking about changing up your wardrobe, but you know what I mean.

Lately I have been desperately wanting to rework my wardrobe completely. Though it’s a slow transition, I am working on investing in key items, or as they say: quality over quantity. It’s been hard (simply because splurging on items is not my favorite thing to do when on a budget), but I have been working on it!

My biggest investment so far were these kate spade heels that I’ve been obsessing over since Christmas. They were finally marked down a bit, and I am so glad that I took the plunge. They’re a staple heel that I know I will wear and keep for a long time.

I’m also working on only buying items if they fit PERFECTLY. These white pants are a great example: they are a pair of luxury denim under $100. To make sure I loved them 100%, I took the extra step to get them hemmed to my ideal length. Quality is key, and I am trying my best to embrace that! Plus, I love the clean denim look with this classy Marbled Tank Top. It’s appropriate to wear into the office, yet casual enough to wear around town.
