So you may or may not know that since July, I’ve been splitting my time between Los Angeles and San Diego. I currently work & live in LA, but my boyfriend and many many friends (including my baby sis) are still down in SD; SO, that means lots & LOTS of driving. What it also means is that I can explore twice as many fitness studios with my ClassPass Flex. I love the freedom ClassPass gives me because trying out new studios can be a 7-days-a-week thing for people on the road as much as I am now that their ClassPass Flex has been launched, yay!
This morning I decided to pop into a spin class in Pacific Beach at Ride On Indoor Cycling. It was amazing! The studio is extremely clean, and small + intimate, providing a one-on-one feel with the instructor. I think there were only about 9 riders including myself and the instructor in the class, and there were no empty bikes. The small class feel makes the environment less intimidating, and gives you a chance to connect with the instructor a bit more. The bikes were different than bikes I’ve worked out on before; there was a little screen on the bike that tracked your RPM’s, watts, elapsed time, resistance, and distance. This made it mentally easier knowing how long I had been on the bike, how much time I had left, and how quick I was actually going. There’s also a little swag station for you to get some new workout clothes, which is one of my favorite things to buy *heart eyes emoji face.* If you’re in San Diego, I highly recommend this class!
*the class is located on the second floor of the building, and parking is in the surrouding neighborhood…I had a hard time finding it being a first timer, but it’s not difficult if you’re prepared for where you’re going 😉
