Ring in the New Year.

I believe in fate. And when I walked into the Kate Spade store, that is what I was graced with. Fate landed me the very ring I had been in search of since I tried it on my finger a year ago. And fate is what helped me ring in the new year the right way. Thank you Ms. Spade, this shiny little gem will come in handy in 2013.

5 TIPS FOR MOVING WITH A BABY!

1. Movers are ESSENTIAL. We went with @roadwaymoving and I cannot recommend them enough. They were incredible from start to finish and made it the easiest, most enjoyable move we’ve ever had!
2. Baby carrier for naps — I didn’t think about this one until it was nap time and everything was everywhere. Between the noise and the moving of furniture, Crew was definitely not getting a crib nap, but he slept perfectly in the baby carrier.
3. Have bottles on hand for BF baby. There wasn’t a ton of opportunity to pump or BF, so having bottles ready to go for most of the day was essential.
4. Order food to be ready at your moving destination! Nothing feels better than food on your doorstep when you arrive.
5. Pack baby essentials separately from everything else. Toys, play mat, diapers & wipes, PJs, bedtime items, etc. That way you can get baby immediately acclimated and set up at your new home while the movers do their thing. We took Crew to the house before the movers arrived and got him set up, and he was good to go!
6. Bonus: call your mom! Or any extra helping hands to come help you with the baby; having my mom there made everything run extra smooth!

— BioFreeze Roll-On: since giving birth I’ve had really bad wrist pain! (Pls lmk if you’ve experienced this?!) Rolling this on helps ease the pain

— Beekeeper’s Naturals Immune Support Spray: we keep this stocked in our household! They also make a kid’s version which is what I purchased during the sale.

— KIND Breakfast Protein bars: having a quick 8g of protein per bar is so helpful when we’re on the go and need a snack

— LOLLEEZ Organic Throat Soothing Pops: yes, they’re for kids, but we love them too! Especially during cold season, it’s nice to have these on hand just in case.

— Wonderful Roasted & Salted Pistachios: one of our favorite on-the-go snacks happened to be on sale so you know I’m going to stock up!

Navigating sleep with a new baby is hard, let alone a baby going through a 4 month sleep regression!
