You guys – today is officially 86 days until we say I DO!!! So it’s about time we chat about Save the Dates.
I can’t believe how quickly this time has flown by. Everyone always says, “enjoy being engaged, it’ll go by so fast!” Well they weren’t kidding.
I’m happy to report that our wedding planner, Ali from Love and Laughter events helped us solidify our big vendors pretty quickly, so I feel like we’re ready ( for the most part ) for the big day. All that’s really left are all the small details! Which I think I’m just a little more excited for 😉 Love a good detail, don’t you?!
Now that conversations have circulated more about our venue and date on the blog, I wanted to share our Save the Dates with you!
Our friend Halle from @hallemarcel_ flew out from Minnesota to capture the most amazing engagement photos for us a few months ago, so designing these in collaboration with Artifact Uprising was SUCH a treat. It was only hard because we had so many favorites!
From the moment I saw Artifact Uprising‘s minimal designs I knew they’d be perfect for our Save the Dates.
There are SO many great places to choose from when it comes to making your Save the Dates, but through this entire wedding planning process I’ve found that I really don’t want too many options. I just want a small handful of really good options so I can quickly eliminate and choose what I’m envisioning. When there are 25 pages of fluff, it just ends up stressing me out and I end up shutting my computer off.
Artifact Uprising is all about simple, stunning options that don’t overwhelm you, your fiancé, or your guests!
We chose the “Hand Lettering” design, and kept it simple with white writing, white envelopes, and brown stickers to seal the envelopes.
They have some stunning foil options for our design as well if you want to add something special.
I LOVED the colored envelope options to make things interesting, but we decided to keep it simple with white! That also helped keep the cost low.
The unique shape and layout of the save the dates were my favorite part. I love how they’re a long, thin rectangle as opposed to the traditional 5×7 styles! Chic, minimal, and striking.
