If you happened to be blogger-obsessed last summer, or just happened to hit the mall once or twice, then you saw when the widely-adopted Zara Skort (& modified versions) hit blogs, and racks, everywhere. I myself indulged in this trend, and originally demonstrated my appreciation for this piece in a blog post, here.
Fast forward to this summer; the skort is a trend that has not showed any signs of slowing down. Fast-fashion retailers everywhere are supplying the masses with exact replicas at lower price points, which is causing this trend to stay afloat (it also helps that it possesses the undeniable ability to make any outfit chic). I coveted my black skort from Zara last summer so much that I deeply regretted not purchasing it in white as well. Thank GOODNESS for Forever 21; I found this lower-priced, nearly EXACT version of my black one. The only difference? The thickness in fabric. Everything else, including quality, is well worth the 19.80 that I paid. If you’re wishing you jumped on this trend last summer, you’re getting a second chance, ladies! GO! 😉

i never did hop on the skort trend because i thought for sure it would go out of style in a second but now that it is still around i definitely am considering it!
