Fall Floral Dress

Do you ever feel like the weekend speeds by before you even realize it’s started? I hate that feeling! On the plus side, the promise of a new week is very refreshing. I’ve also been feeling overly-busy lately; it’s like my calendar fills up weeks in advance now because I try to plan out my days ahead of time…but then I feel somewhat overwhelmed with my full schedule! Anyone else do this? Hoping that my calendar will calm down a bit this month so I can enjoy October. I’ve realized that it’s one of my favorite months, so I want to savor it (especially since September came and went before I could even absorb it!)

This dress is the PERFECT Fall floral dress. Especially if you’re in an area with warmer Fall weather. The dark colors, the beautiful print, the dainty lace at the end of the extra-large sleeves…and the open back. I die. It’s all so perfect. Another huge plus is that it is lined, so I don’t have to worry about it being see through! *Side note, this dress fits true to size. I ordered a Small and it’s perfect! It is a little bit short though (I’m 5’4″); when I lift my arms up high, it’s a no-go. So, just don’t do that and you’ll be fine ; )

I decided to pair my hat with it because 1. I am overly obsessed with this hat, and 2. I thought it would add to the Fall feeling of the outfit. The wedges make it a little summerier, (is that a word? My computer didn’t underline it in red…but I totally thought I just made it up…) which works for me because lately it honestly feels hotter than any summer day I experienced this past summer, so I’m goin’ with it!

Style Tip:

I wear these petals with open-back dresses like this; they stay on me better than the sticky bras, and they’re 100 times more comfortable! Also, they come with 3 sets, so it’s always a fresh pair! If you have a small chest like me and haven’t tried these yet, I highly urge you to run to Target and get a pack!!
