It’s probably no surprise that one of my style icons is one of the women credited to revolutionizing what’s considered “normal” everyday attire. The forever coveted Carrie Bradshaw (or the widely admired, less fictional, SJP; whichever you prefer). She will forever be known as the sassy single lady painting the streets of NYC with glitter and glam, breaking the hearts of many, and rocking Blahniks like it’s her J.O.B.
Lucky for us, Carrie sparked a trend that is just now exploding onto the streets in a profound way: TULLE! This feminine, playful skirt is being incorporated into everyday outfits and being styled in every way imaginable. Thankfully, talented people like the gorgeous Christine behind Bliss Tulle have started producing these beauties in mass quantities, all by hand! I absolutely freaked out when I received mine in the mail, and have already worn it twice (I got it 3 days ago, shh). I am obsessed! And the elastic waist band makes it almost as comfortable as your favorite yoga pants, just a million times more fashionable 😉
