Fashion That Heals

Happy Wednesday lovelies! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I wanted to take a little break from the outfit posts today and take this opportunity to share with you an event that is coming up on Saturday, May 17th. It’s the third annual “Fashion That Heals” fashion show at the Carlsbad Sheraton Resort & Spa. Ticket holders to this event have access to a champagne reception and luncheon, a health and beauty expo, a trunk show, and a high-end fashion show; win-win situation if you ask me!

“Proceeds from this upscale fashion show will benefit women’s heart health programs at Tri-City Medical Center. Last year’s second annual event helped fund $350,000 in the latest digital mammography equipment. Since its inception, Tri-City Hospital Foundation has funded over $43 million dollars to support Tri-City Medical Center.”

I think it’s so important to donate to women’s health because hello…that’s us ladies! And what better way to do it than by sipping on champagne while watching a fashion show?

The tickets are a tad pricey ($100), but all proceeds go right back to Tri-City Medical Center. If this is a bit out of your price range, there are other ways to give back! For all my readers, especially the ones that are shop and boutique owners (whether it be online or brick-and-mortar), you have the opportunity to donate items to be auctioned; this is a great way to get you and your store name out there in a huge way. And if you don’t own a store, this is a fabulous way to show your support to Tri-City Medical Center!
